This is a pivotal moment in the history of our planet.

In a thousand years the only thing people will remember about the twentieth century is that mankind broke the bonds of gravity and visited another world. This was one of the most important first steps in doing that.

My fascination with such things comes from the sense of wonder I have that such things are possible.
